Compliant with IEEE 802.3ba and QSFP28 MSA standards, this module integrates advanced cooling EML transmitters and SOA+PIN receivers for reliable operation in demanding environments.
This optical module utilizes LAN-WDM technology with four wavelengths centered at 1295.56 nm, 1300.05 nm, 1304.58 nm, and 1309.14 nm. It complies with QSFP28 MSA, IEEE 802.3ba, and meets Class 1 FDA and IEC60825-1 laser safety standards. The module also supports retimed electrical interfaces for signal integrity.
The transceiver converts electrical signals into optical signals using four EML-based transmitters, each operating at a specific wavelength. These signals are multiplexed and transmitted over a single fiber. On the receiver side, a SOA amplifies the incoming optical signal before it is demultiplexed and converted back to electrical signals by a PIN and TIA array.
